I have tweaked this project from about a year ago. It sounds like it might be appropriate from what I have been seeing asked for in the past month.
What it does
-Floats / Loans
-Pickups
-Automatically moves the numbers from pickups into a "safe"
-View the contents of up to ten registers on one screen
-Alarms for low / high cash in a register
Coming Soon (if anyone is interested in the program)
-Journal
-Reports

Remember this is a beta so keep a written log to back up the programs math if you use it in a actual store environment.
