Quoting System

Post by Muskrat » Sat Feb 12, 2005 3:08 pm

I used to use the Park for quoting systems. "I sell computers"
but if the park is now taking products out of my inventory, I am going to
have a bad inventory count.

Maybe there could be a way of doing Quotes. At the end of the sale.
put another option for the "park" and "Quote" when you hit quote.
it will put everything back into inventory. and just print out a quote.

Thanks guys.

Here's an Idea:
Enable "Print Sales Check" Which allows you to print parked sales. Then, after you print it out, void the parked sale.

Parked sales

Post by Dale Harris » Sat Feb 12, 2005 8:27 pm

The original purpose of parking sales is to hold them while processing other sales. The merchandise in these sales must be reserved as long as the sale is parked.

Chris' idea is a good on, to print out the sale as a sales check and then when you void the sale the merchandise will be returned to the inventory. Although this does mean that if the sale is later completed that you will have to ring up the sale again.
