Problems With Aprint

I have found that when you have the "ask whether to print a reciept" feature is set to ask, it will not print even if I tell it to do so. The only way to get it to print is to go into the void function and reprint, but this is a bit of a hassle; although I don't print receipts that often. Any suggestions?
