Printing a "simple" receipt

Ihardly dare to suggest but.....
When using dhpos in a shop were you sell a lot of articles per customer the receipt is long and contains more data than you want ( actually than I want.)
I would like a more simple receipt. One that only has the top stuff on it and for the sold articles only the name, (number if more than 1) and price. This could be printed on one line on a 40 column receipt printer I think.
