Networking DHpos

Good day

I firstly installed one terminal as a stand alone, then after two months my client said he need an additional terminal plus a back office. I ve been trying to link up those computers but to no success, i m wondering as the is someone who may help me with step by step from starting with the stand alone to additionals and configurations,the cabling part is write it have been checked. Please help.

The following are the steps to setup and configure a DHPOS
Cash Register on a network consisting of two Cashier and a
Back Office Workstations.

Below is a set of simplified instructions.

Original Workstation:
1. share the drive in which
the "\POS" folder exist and map the drive has "Z:\".
2. Create a folder in the "C:\POS" name "GLOBAL" ie.
"C:\POS\GLOBAL".
3. Copy all the files in the "C:\POS" to the newly created
folder "C:\POS\GLOBAL".
4. Run the POSCONFG.exe in the "C:\POS" folder
and set the Server Path to "Z:\POS\GLOBAL\"
and Folder Type to Local.
5. To start Cash Register run POS.exe from the
"C:\POS" folder.

New Workstation:
1. Create a folder "C:\POS"
2. Copy all the files in the "C:\POS" from the Original Workstation
into this newly created folder "C:\POS" on the new Workstation.
3. Map drive "Z:\" as "\\original workstation\C".
4. Run the POSCONFG.exe in the "C:\POS" folder
and set the Server Path to "Z:\POS\GLOBAL\"
and Folder Type to Local.
5. To start Cash Register run POS.exe from the
"C:\POS" folder.

Back Office:
1. Map drive "Z:\" as "\\original workstation\C".
2. Run the POSCONFG.exe in the "Z:\POS\GLOBAL" folder
and set the Server Path to "Z:\POS\GLOBAL\"
and Folder Type to Global.
3. To start Cash Register "Back Office" run POS.exe from the
"Z:\POS\GLOBAL" folder.
