Post by arlgroup » Thu Aug 22, 2013 9:35 am

Good day good people

I configured DHPOS accordingly, then start doing stock database. I have scanned all items into the stock table.stock number, prices everything.now when I press f8 and scan an item only the stock number appears without any information.

When in the stock table,I press f1 to look for stock nothing happens. If in purchase scanned an item only the stock number you have scanned appear nothing more,so what may be the problem?

I'll take a guess this is a DHPOS running as a networked system.
If so, the problem may be one or more of these:
1. you didn't enter the inventory into the GLOBAL stock table (you did create a global folder, didn't you?).
2. you had other registers open when adding items to the stock table.
3. you didn't restart the registers (including the GLOBAL pos.exe, first) after entering the data into the GLOBAL stock table.

Review pages 29 through 34 of the DHPOS manual related to networking and stock table updates. http://www.dhpos.com/register.pdf

Can you browse your stock table data from any of the registers? how about the Main computer in the local folder or within its GLOBAL folder?

If this isn't your configuration, please provide some more details of your POS configuration settings.
Later,
Bruce
