Printer from dos

I plan on useing this software on a computer without windows installed, just from dos. i will be useing a epson receipt printer will this work without window drivers supporting the print?

When it comes to printing on a receipt printer from the POS program DOS is easy it is Windows that requires jumping through hoops.

Just make sure that the printer connects to the computer through the parallel printer port -----> <U>NOT THE SERIAL PORT!!!</U> <----

Of course I cannot guarentee that a specific printer will work with a specific system without actually trying it out but I am pretty sure.
