I have tested 3 printers :
1. Zebra TLP2742
2. Samsung laserprinter (USB)
3. HP laserprinter (Network printer)
I'm able to configure the printers, port is set to file and aprint2.exe is running.
printing the stock report is ok on all 3 printers
printing a ticket spools thousands of pages
APRINT2 problem and errors!

I have a problem that is along the same lines as this thread. I hope that it is alright to continue with the thread.
My computer too was trying to print a gob of pages (I let it get to 150,000±). Following the advise of deleting the WLSDFKJN.DRY file, I deleted it. Now my computer only prints one receipt at the end of the sale. It is set in the setup file to print 2 and I've changed no other setting.
I have an HP all in one (print, copy and scan). I've been using the program since January with not one problem. I was attempting to re-print a receipt from the void menu when my day went kapoot quickly.
The problem started when the printer started running low on ink, which I knew and had a cartridge on hand. There was an error message that popped up on the POS page. It printed the first receipt no problem, but then the program shut itself down. I then went into the void menu screen to find the receipt to reprint me a copy (the transaction was not available or something like that). There was another receipt that I wanted to re-print and I did the tab to print and kabluey...nothing.
I flipped the print box open to see the status and the page count was steadily climbing. Being busy, I turned the program off and handwrote tickets until I could get time to research the solution.
I deleted the .dry file and everything seemed to be working again, except that it will only print one receipt. Being once bitten and twice shy, I have not tried to reprint receipts from the void menu. I get "hurry the heck up" stares as I copy each receipt before I give to customer.
Is there some step that I have missed? The computer has been restarted and I have checked the printer configuration settings.
The only other part of the puzzle I might mention is that the computer was attached to the internet this week with DSL and i installed Norton (perhaps the culprit?) Antivirus to keep from getting a bug or virus.
Any Ideas on what I might do to solve my problem?
Thank you! Will
