Gift Card Problem

When ever I try to use more than 3 gift cards in a sale, the program crashes after I enter in the 4th gift card, I get a message saying "string space corrupt tender", the program will either freeze up, or shut down. I am running version 6.40a.

I am assuming that you are trying to use gift cards to pay for a sale, not selling gift cards.

From the user's guide...

If you have zeroed out a gift card by tendering it for a sale and the amount on the gift card did not cover the total of the sale you can use up to two additional gift cards (3 total) to try to cover the amount of the sale. 

So this should not be a problem because you cannot use more than 3 giftcards for payment in one sale.

I will look into this.
