Ok

Hi again, Never noticed you were from the North! I "think" that the partial cut thing is actually a driver in its own right.. Its ages since I had my Epson T88 attached for playing with! I'm sure there was a different driver called "Epson T88II Partial Cut"? I could be getting confused with the Epso...

The nearest printer to the T80 is the T85, but looking at the Epson POS website it does'nt list anything previous to the T88II  Do you have these drivers: "Epson Advanced Printer Driver for TM Series Ver. 2.10E" - I have'nt installed them on my system to check, but perhaps an older version will...

Thats very very sad indeed

"When you log off of the POS at our local Grocer (Demoulas Market Basket), a small slip of recipt paper comes out with your name, items rung, average sale per minute, etc. And, sometimes at Wal*Mart, they put signs up with the Cashiers name, and how many Items per hour they are ringing, and they cha...

Hardware recommended

I repair Epson units, and I highly recommend them, the U220PD is a new unit replacing the U200/210PD I've tested most Parallel fitted Epsons with DH-POS successfully, my favourite is the Epson TM-T88IIIP. The unit I have in the picture that you saw is an Epson TM-H6000P, which is basically two print...

yes it does

DOS does support mice - it has done for over a decade!!!! You just need a tsr like mouse.com! I've got all of the drivers on a disk :) The software thats loaded on the units that I fix have a numeric keypad on the screen for data entry. If you use DH-POS on them you can plug in a standard keyboard &...

Aha

Thats the problem with using Aprint, it uses a windows font instead of a printer font hence the delay!

The new version of Aprint under development seems to have fixed that problem - coming soon I believe!

hmm

funnily enough the instructions for POS state that Serial printers are not recommended and don't really work properly with POS. The solution is to install the Windows drivers for the Star printer (Star Micronics) and use the Aprint application bundled with POS. The new version of Aprint currently un...

I've got one!

Yes I had my Preh Commander MC128 keyboard setup for DH-POS without any problems! You need to program it with a key combination (a normal keyboard plugs into the Preh to allow you to do this) I think its "Alt Gr + Scroll Lock" which makes the Scrl Lock LED flash on and off, then enter your command "...
