Re: Rewards Feature
Dale, (or more to those who know something about reward programs.) Personally I'm in the same place as Dale when it comes to 'Rewards WhatEvers'. As a consumer, I'm fine without them. As a retailer it seems to be an interesting tool to promote sales. First, I'll qualify that i know nothing about ret...

Re: Rewards Feature
Q: In a small village in Uganda they are drilling a new water well. Will this have a positive affect on DSC? A: Only if they hit water. Once they do, they can intergrate DSC (Swahili version) with the Well head and a dollar validator which will colminate into a succesful automated water sales banan...

Dale,
Sounds like; perhaps a stay at Hoa Lo would be a more pleasant alternative to coding dhpos to qb64.

Re: long VAR list
Dale A SUB with forty VARs seems like a visit to 'crazy town' with a good sprinkling of 'error opportunity' with each CALL. :) :-) I'm sure you were trying to beat some short comings (of qb45 perhaps) in having to pass so many VARs. I've never qb45'd, so I don't know. Nor do I know the details of yo...

Qualities of great programmers; being bright, but fundamentally lazy (always on the lookout for ways to shortcut the process).

Import feature corrupts data in table if all fields not used
Dale, As outlined in the user manual, if for example you want to import just fields 1 thru 7 the rest of the fields do not need to be specified. However, this allows the import wizard to corrupt the stock table data that is imported. While I was importing a CSV file containing the STOCK NUMBER, DESC...
