Post by gabriel » Tue Jun 29, 2004 9:25 am

Hi, May i know who is currently using Dhpos's network function? Could you please list down your numbers of client PC in the network? Is it stable enough to use the network funtions? So far, is there any problem encountered?

Thanks for your advice and feedback.

Best rgds,
Gabriel

Gabriel

Networking in a stable form has been in operation since version 5.0. Howdo we know it's stable? By person's testing it for us. If everyone waited for everyone else to find out if it's stable, we would get nowhere - and right now, beta testing is sluggish regretably.

Come on guys - if you want this to proceed, you need to support DHPOS and it's affiliates such as POLE when they release testing versions!

Hi andrewbunn,

Thanks for your reply.

I would like to know is it possible to network 3 registers in purely DOS mode? I've installed MS-DOS version 7.10, but I don't know how to make the network connections.
Could you please give some guides in doing this?

Thank you.

I am using two registers networked over DOS 6.22 and it works flawlessly (unless someone rips my CAT5 in half again). If you have any questions, send me a PM and I can help out, although I won't have reliable internet until I move back to my apartment in August.
