Hi Dale ,
After up grading from 6.40i to 6.40j , POS seems to take a very long time to print . Also closing receipt printout seems to be a bit corrupted . Have gone back to 6.40i.

Jon has used a different process to write the new version of APRINT4 and this may be causing it to start printing slower.

The closing receipt is corrupted in what way?

Hi Dale ,
I use a small software called dosprint to print the receipts . I could never get Aprint working . My printer is a 36 column Thermal Citizen printer . It does take a while to print , but with 6.40j its takes much much longer . The closing receipt prints out with no lines separating the headings from the information. It looks like a receipt reprint from the voids function.

Does your program capture the LPT1: output or does it read the WLSDFJKN.DRY file?

There really has been no change in either sending the print stream to either place.
