Yes they do...
Chris,
Read the site again, under "services"...and I quote...
"What We Do
We'll work with your customers to learn more about their type of business, annual sales volume, and average transaction amount. Once we've established the most advantageous platform for their type of business we'll complete their application and submit it for approval to Global Payments.
When approved, Global Payments will send out a Welcoming Kit to your customer outlining card acceptance guidelines, help desk contact information, and will contact your customer if a terminal needs to be re-programmed.
That's all there is to it. Your customer can now use X-Charge™ to process credit card and check payments. And best of all, you'll receive a portion of each sale for the life of the account.
To get started, contact us today or click the application button on left to print an application yourself."
Sure does sound an awful lot like 'Global Payments' is the clearing house, therefore the people that process the payments. As gracious as Dale is in giving his software away, I just don't see any company investing this much time and effort into software, and then giving it away, if it wasn't for the small catch that you have to use their clearing house/processing center.
Just for the record, X-Charge is a great software app, a good friend of mine owns a buisness and ironically uses both DHPOS and X-Charge, he can't wait for the two to become intergrated.
-Ryan :-)
BTW, We've known about X-Charge for some time now, thanks for yet another thread that just repeats what was already said in another thread. It's really handy.

Couldn't agree more...but just curious. Do you actually think about what you post on here, or just post whatever happens to come to mind? It's as if you don't actually look into anything, but instead just start typing at random, and hope for the best. You should take Ryan's advice and read a site before commenting on what they can and can not do.ChrisKraus wrote:Just For Clarification: I'm wierd.
X-Charge
X-Charge is proprietary software that will allow you integrate your POS and your credit card processing for a more secure and convenient transaction. We offer competitive rates and full support. If you think your discount rate is lower, let us examine your statement!! No cost, No obligation-Side by side comparison I am personally available to answer all your processing questions.

Hey, Lenora, we get the point! Yet....do you realize we're already well on our way to using X-Charge? If you took the 3 seconds to check the other postings you would. We also have this thing about not stating the same thing in more than one thread. It's kinda redundant, and a waste of time. Kris already does this too much, please don't join in his madness.

Be nice
Let's all be nice to each other. Lenora is kind of new here and it takes time to learn the ropes. So while Guest's comments maybe sort of valid they sure could have been expressed in a friendlier way.
For those that do not know, Lenora is my contact at X-Charge and has been unblievably patient and helpful in helping me to get the POS program to eventually interface directly with X-Charge. This will mean that you will be able to process credit, debit, check, and gift card sales through the POS program itself.
And good news, Jon is back and is working on the PIN pad interface which is required to process debit sales. I am working on the gift card feature. Credit, debit (except for the PIN pad interface) and checks are already finished.

X-Charge Fees
You are welcome to call me anytime. There are quite often extra fees on merchant statements to the point that the percentages are quite often moot. If you are an existing business we try to do a side by side comparison in Black and white for you. If you are new the fees will only vary by how you do business ( jeyed entry or swiped) Please feel free to call me anytine 800-637-8268 ext 110. We do offer integration rather than terminal based!!

Re: Credit/Debit Card Processing
Is there an integration with the X-chage software available?
Re: Credit/Debit Card Processing
Not yet.

Re: Credit/Debit Card Processing
X-Charge currently works with 4 processors that we currently work with. We now have X-Web Our gateway for online processing. This is also a free service with the exception of the actual processing fees!! Check it out!!!
Re: Be nice
So this was 2005...fast forward almost 5 years...are we any closer to X-Charge integration? I would use dhpos daily in a heartbeat if I could process electronic sales within dhpos!Dale Harris wrote:Let's all be nice to each other.
