Hi to all
How can I veiw the banance of gift card with out have the stock table setup.
If I go into reports with the stock table setup I get the option Q for gift card banlance.
If I turn the stock table off I do not get this option.
is it posable to have his option on all the time without the stock table.

Not right now. I guess I will have to fix that in a future version.

hi Dale
Thank you for the fast reply. Will be keeping a close eye for the future version with this working without the stock table turn on.

Re: how to veiw balance of gift cards
Tony,
Here is the fix http://www.dhpos.com/fileinfo.exe
You have no idea the trouble that you have caused
Since your fix required that the "Gift card" option be moved from the bottom of the list to near the top, this changed the location of all the options below it. This means that if "automatic reports" are being used that they will no longer work and it you try you will get very bizarre results. Therefore anyone using this new file wil have to reprogram their automatic reports.
Of course this new file will only function with POS version 6.40j or later.
Also while I was in this file I fixed a couple of bugs in the "History" reports that caused it to give inaccurate figures.

Re: how to veiw balance of gift cards
I know there is a report available where you can enter the gift card number and get the balance and the transactions on the card. Is there a report available that will allow me to see the balance and transactions of all of the gift cards in the register all at once?
Re: how to veiw balance of gift cards
Dukane,
Not yet, but it will probably be in the next version if I ever get it done.
BTW, the next release will be Version 7.0 and it will have the "tickets" feature.
