Printing Issue :(

Post by apara197 » Thu Nov 24, 2005 12:09 am

I am running DHPOS on a Winxp SP2 machine. Everything is working fine except the printing.

When I start DHPOS it prints report but small layout on the top left corner, never had problem when I was on Win98se. Plus it wont print receipt. It will print start of day report and end of day report, but very small print on the top left corner.

I tried on another Winxp SP2 system it works fine. I installed everything the same. Any ideas team. :?

apara197,

Are you using APRINT.EXE to print to a USB printer. If so read this http://www.dhpos.com/discuss/phpBB2/vie ... php?t=1026

If I remember rightly the KX-P7100 is a full width (80 column) printer.

Have you set DHPOS to print in 80 column mode? (Printer Setup - "Print 40 or 80 characters wide"). If so, what do you mean by "small layout", do you mean the font is small? If so - this could be something set via the buttons most of those Panasonic models have on the front.

Also - if it's not printing sales receipts, go into Printer Setup in POSCONFG and ensure "Print receipts on a printer" is set to YES.

If you are using APRINT for printing with DHPOS, refer to Dale's link earlier.

I have today download the new APRINT that Jon was doing I guess still in beta. Now I can print receipts. My only problem is when I select Do Not Print Receipt it automatically prints a blank page.

You help please :)

thanks
