Upgrading

Justin,

Dropping the download file into the same folder that you are using for the older version of the POS program and then unzipping / extracting it will upgrade POS just fine.

HOWEVER!!!
There is always the possibility that I have seriously screwed up the new version and you will wish that you could go back to a time when the POS program, you know, actually worked.

To allow going back to the old version what you should do is make a POS_OLD folder on your computer and then copy the WHOLE current POS folder there before you download the new version file. Then if something unfortunate happens all you have to do is to copy the POS_OLD folder back into the POS folder you normally use to restore everything back to the previous version.

Yep,

just overwrite the program files with the new versions in the ZIP file.

It is recommended however to make a backup of the entire POS directory (program+data files) prior to updating. You never know...
